house-group

As you get to know us, you’ll discover that our community is made up of lots of smaller ones that meet in people’s homes during the week. These groups are a place to know and be known, and work with a small group of other people in reordering life around following Jesus. Each of our groups share the same values but are unique in terms of where and when they meet together and who is part of them. Feel free to try any or all of them!

For a list of current house groups please see our Diary of activities & events page.

What’s our ethos behind House Groups? Why go to one?

“Sundays are great but midweek is better” is our House Group catchphrase
Come on Sundays to meet with the whole church and get that “family with a purpose” feeling, but do get along to a house group as regularly as you can, to get to know people and make stronger friendships. Or if you cannot attend regularly, please affiliate yourself with a House Group Leader(s). House groups are communities where we can share our lives with other like-minded people. We can relax and enjoy the company, learn more about ourselves – through chatting with others, through reading the Bible, through listening to God – and help others out when they need it. We all have crises in our lives. When they come along its good to have some regular support from people who know about us and can give us some much need advice and help.
